Message to our learners: Our course helps you to support the mental well-being of working-age adults by harnessing the positive impact of physical activity and sport.

 

Our course is delivered in the form of a practice-oriented continuous professional development (CPD). The following online learning consists of self-learning units of app. 15 to 20 minutes. The online learning is divided into Module A & B. Your are encouraged to follow the learning units in the proposed order: First Module A with A0 --> A5, and then, Module B with B1 --> B6. Module C will be held on-site.

After Module A, you will ...

  • know the main benefits of promoting mental well-being

  • understand what is meant by the terms mental well-being and mental health

  • be aware of the prevalence of individuals who may experience mental well-being challenges

  • appreciate the importance and benefits of promoting positive mental well-being

  • know the benefits of sport and physical activity for improving mental well-being

  • recognise the benefits to your club and team promoting mental well-being through sport

  • be aware of the main context variables related to mental well‐being through sport
